Truth In the Spirit

" The only thing that is acceptable in God’s eyes is whatever we do in Spirit and Truth, nothing else but that. Jesus asked the woman at the well for something knowing that she had nothing to give, but His intention was to break the protocol. The well was a place where the thirsty people would come to drink. Jesus had gotten her to think first because all He wanted was to point her to His well. He wanted to stir her to thirst for Him (salvation)! Jesus was also pointing out her own sin concerning her adultery and fornication, not to condemn her but to convict and bring her to the need for living water (Him).

 Sometimes you can say some things, and because of people’s answers you think you missed God, but it just might be the Holy Spirit speaking through you to pull up stuff. “Call your husband,” Jesus said. “I don’t have husband,” she answered! He knew everything, but she knew Him not. But when she finally noticed the gift, she received it.

 She was partnering with the Truth – Jesus sitting at the well telling her her life story and the Truth starts bringing her conviction. She worshipped things that she did not even know.

But the hour came and now it is: Truth and Spirit shall be worshiped together! She was a Gentile – the first one of the first persons to encounter salvation. This was definitely a divine appointment. She was one of first persons to hear and to learn the importance of doing anything for God in the Spirit and in the Truth.

 Religion is going somewhere but God is not there. In religion you can go somewhere but it does not mean you will find Him. Religion is doing something because you have to. You really don’t want to because your heart is not in it. “I have to go to prayer.” Prayer is not religious! You are! You do it because you have to! The thing ordained is not the problem. We have become the problem.

 If I go to a gathering place of the saints but don’t tap in, I may not get anything. When I tap into the Spirit and into the Truth, I will always get something. Every one joining together is supplying something! When we stay in the Spirit and in the Truth, we always will find Him. He is the Truth and we are in Him.

 For example, you take communion or you fast, but your heart is not in it! Those things are not religious, but we are because we don’t do it in Spirit and in Truth. “Do it as often as you think of Me.” He said that concerning communion. So many places they take communion as a tradition, as a monthly ritual. You decide not to do it with them because it became a ritual if we do it just because it is what we do. It is pointless and religious. We must be doing it in Spirit and in Truth. You can take communion every day and that can be glorious! When we do it unworthily or religiously, that is for nothing! His shed blood becomes for nothing! Any act of service being done without faith and belief is just dead works!

 At some point, everything we do without Truth and Spirit becomes like Cain’s offering! If we stay out of the spirit, we stay religious. Are you joined to the Lord? So we are one Spirit with Him. Does worship become religious? Yes. Because we just sing with our lips but our hearts are far from the Truth. Coming together is religious? No. It is God’s commandment but becomes religious if you just come to a building in the flesh or in tradition or as a house to gather!

 People make their Facebook their church. They are forgetting the assembling together. They are self-sufficient. They don’t discern the Lord’s Body anymore! They don’t need the foot or the hand! When God designed the Church, He joined every part together! That’s the importance of being together as One! You also need to get your own oil. Don't be a spiritual maverick! You have a family! There is also a protection if there is a wolf around the sheep! Jesus is our shepherd, but He has ordained us to submit to one another. This is His design. The Church was His idea! Relationship on your own is not enough! For both of them is a vital need to be in Spirit and in Truth! Jesus died for a church, not for us to live solo. We are supposed to be our brother’s keeper! One will pray, one will dig, one will encourage, one will rebuke! We all should watch out for one another. It’s all about that because the enemy comes to kill, to steal, and to deceive. There is protection and wisdom in community! There is wisdom in the Truth. Would it be safer if you stay home and just come out when Jesus comes back? How bright is the light if you hide it? What kind of church are you? The hidden one? Discern the members of the Body! You may not be “feeling” it, but the “knee” is, and the “knee” is being led in the Spirit and in Truth! We are taking communion every time we do anything for Him and with Him in Spirit and Truth! We are in Him and He is in us.

 What becomes religious to one person, to another can become the source of life! Is it what we do religiously or is my heart not in it? When we come together, there is a sound that only all of us can make. When done corporately, it is glorious! The oil comes down from the head – Jesus – all over the whole body! But that happens only when we have both Spirit and Truth moving together! Anything beside that will make us sick, sleepy and weak! And soon you will go from being religious to lost and dead! It is right in the Word.

 First love, first works, mean you doing everything in the Spirit and in Truth! God is not mad because you are not part of this and that movement that He is not in! He is mad because we are not doing things in Spirit and Truth. God did not say, “If My people pray only,” but He said, “RETURN from their wicked ways!” If you not praying in Truth and in Spirit, you are praying in error!

 We get sanctified through the Truth! You can come and worship with your body and express emotions but on Monday you may not obey or follow His Word, then you are not in the Truth.

 When His people come together in the Spirit and Truth, it is glorious! One in the Truth. One in the Spirit. One body of Christ! If God is doing something, we want to be part of it, not religious but in the Spirit and Truth. This is the only ordained act of worship.

 Many are sick because they are supplying themselves and not discerning the body, but they must be in Spirit and Truth! Sacrifice is holy. Not religious! The things God commanded can become religious because we are not doing them in faith, in Spirit, and in Truth.

 On the day of Pentecost, they all came together in Him! God did not say, “Go hide!” Come together! Stay together in a certain place. It is about survival! Coming together is about survival! He ordained the way and the place! But the chances of doing it solo are not good and it will not work! Every joint fitly joined together moving in the Spirit and Truth. I am counting on you to watch me and I will watch over you! When we all do it together in the Spirit and Truth, it is heaven! He is doing it, but He is ordaining His way: in the Spirit and in the Truth! God did ordain the Church! God did ordain her, His bride, to move in the Spirit and in the Truth!

He died for a church without spot or wrinkle. A church in the Spirit and in the Truth!" This message let us not forsake the body coming together. We all need one another. Amen.
