" The Lord will answer any one of us according to the multitude of our idols. Many have of us have strangled ourselves from Him through our idols. Idolatry is adultery. We spend most of the time fornicating with ourselves. It is a spiritual masturbation. It is all about us, or them. We go to bed thinking on ourselves, or on them. We wake up with all of our idols in our bed. And we go to someone to enquire of Him wondering why He is so far from us? The Lord Himself will answer us by Himself and will expose to us how we, a house of prayer, became a house of idolatry.
The foundation is set. It is firm. But the walls are falling. Look all the pictures of our lovers hanging on the wall! We have set up many idols in our hearts. We have put our own stumbling block of our own iniquity before God. We have separated ourselves from Him. He won’t compete. “ Adulterers shall not enter into His kingdom…”. He will let us go farther and farther, until we repent. We have provoked His anger. “Thou shall not committed adultery”…We have provoked His wrath. “Why He does not get closer?” Why do we ask?
