In the beginning there was a man sent by God to speak the oracles of God. He would leave the cave carrying in His belly a message from the Master. Most of the time, nobody would listened to him. Time after time, he would return to the master in deep sorrow because their hearts were so hard. The Master would take him on His lap and would calm His soul and release the burn. He would find great joy in the midst of the suffering, rejection and persecution. Some days, He would spend hours waiting, waiting until the Master gives him another assignment. Some days he would not do a thing. In the silence he would find great enjoyment in the presence of the Master. The cave was the most sacred and safe place for him and he would not trade that place for nothing.

Then, one day, the Word came to Him again. He heard Him saying “Thus saith the Lord”. As usual, the Master would command him “Go, tell them, but don’t look at their faces” . But this day was different, He did what was prohibited: his eyes meet theirs...

He looked at their faces. He did not know that that very first eye contact would chance His destiny forever. Through that gaze, his heart started being connect to their. They became their friends. He was used to the hate but he starts seeing that some of them really like him. They started recognizing him. Some started seeing that there was a prophet among them. They started listening to Him. He became somebody. The messenger finally got some friends. Somebody to support him. He started hanging out with thousands of them. He kept sharing all that He heard from the Master. His fame grew. People started following him. Not too many rocks were thrown at him because he started holding back the truth. And even at the most slightly persecution he started feeling despair. He would seek his friends to comfort him and defend him. He was surrounded by people and that really made him to feel good, important, understood for the very first time. He was no longer a lonely man.
Slowly the fear of losing friends started creeping in. He tried to defending himself, thinking he was defending the Master. He tried to convincing them of the Truth. He would spend hours, days, months, debating, trying to make sure that he was understood… Suddenly, He started losing His peace…

Aw…If he only knew…That first glaze…That first look at their faces would put him into His prison…Only one look…
But here comes the Master trying to rescue him. He sent dreams and visions but the messenger thought that was for them…He kept delivering them never realizing the Master was calling him back to the cave…” Come back”, the Master would whisper it…He spoke through thunders, fire, rain…But the messenger had lost his ability to hear the Master’s voice.
The Messenger was too busy trying to keep his list of friends. He kept getting distant and distant. He became busier and busier. The more revelation he was getting, the more distant he was getting from the Master.

Until one day, there was this completely horrifying silence.

The Master stopped speaking.

The messenger had nothing to say. The messenger could hear a thing. And desperation hit him. He had nothing to share with his friends.

The Master kept silent.

No more words.

No more dreams.

No more vision.

The messenger thought about the cave. ‘Let me go back there”, He said to himself. But he could not find the way.
He cried for help. He cried for more revelation to share. Now, he had a reputation to preserve. He had a calling. He had a ministry. He had listeners. The messenger became the master.

But, silence.

He was blind. He was deaf. He was lost.

And from the cave, it was heard by all the saints of the Earth a loud terrifying sound that echoing throughout the land. It was the Master on His knees with His other prophets weeping at the death of one God’s true messengers.

" But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord." Jeremiah 1 - " And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house." Ezekiel 2
